Workplace: 12 months – Blended (online + workplace observations).
Distance: 12 months – Blended (online + workplace observations).
Classroom: 9 months – Weekday classes (2 days p/w): 12 weeks classroom study followed by online learning and practical observations.
Virtual classroom delivery details:
Weekday classes (2 days p/w) – 9 months: 12 weeks group video call classes and 4x in-person simulation days followed by online learning and practical observations.
Practical placement: 180 hours (2 days per week, 7.5 hours a day) in a long day care environment that we can help you organise.
Entry requirements: Evidence of COVID-19 vaccination are required to undertake practical placement in an early childhood education and care setting. For more information, check with your state health department website.
Language Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) skills must meet required standards for ACSF LEVEL 2.Job outcomes: Early learning educator, kindergarten assistant, family day care educator, nanny/in-home carer.
Fees and funding: JobTrainer and Government funding for eligible applicants*. Interest-free payment plans available.
Duration and delivery modes
Workplace – 12 months or Distance – 12 months
Classroom: Weekday classes (2 days p/w) – 8 months: 12 weeks classroom study followed by distance learning and practical observations. (Ageing stream only).
Practical placement: 120 hours we can help you organise.
